All Nighter

IMG_3576

The girls and I went out last night and who knew it would turn into an all nighter. Started at a bar, then to karaoke and ended up eating pho at 6am before finally heading home. Came home so, um, early…that we woke up way too late. It’s been awhile since my last all nighter and I need to remind myself that my 20’s are over. But hey, no one can blame me for allowing some awesomeness to happen. What was this awesomeness? Haha, if you only knew…. And can I say, I just love emoticons!

Well, that’s what you do when you’re single and fabulous. You just go with AWESOME!

Oh yea, Happy Valentine’s Day lol

20 Years Already

20150205-214600.jpg

My grandma passed away 20 years ago today. She was practically my only grandparent…both my grandfathers passed away before I was born and my paternal grandmother passed away when I was a baby.

I loved my grandma so much! And deep down inside, I know I was her favorite grandchild…because she told me I was 😉 lol

When I was a little kid, like 7 or 8 years old, my grandma would give me $1 every time the ice cream truck came by. And I would run out and chase after the ice cream man, screaming, “Wait! I need a Choco Taco!” (I swear, they’re the best!). And I would go back home with one Choco Taco and my grandma would cut it in half and we would share it. And now, every single time I eat my favorite ice cream…it is a little bittersweet.

More than anything, I wish my grandma could’ve been here longer…not necessarily for me, but for my mommy. I could never imagine living 20 years without having a mom. I bet that’s just the saddest thing ever.

I love you, 할머니 (Grandma)
Thanks for always loving me…and for all those delicious Choco Tacos ❤️

Religious

20140630-013211.jpg

I’m Catholic but quite honestly I’m really not that religious. I can’t say that I go to Mass every single week and sometimes I forget to say my prayers but I believe in Christ, I am a Christian.

I never try to impose my religion on anyone else because, with any religion, I just don’t think anyone should go there. Your religion is your religion. But I expose the views of Catholicism, or at least I try to, through my actions in my everyday life.

I feel as if all religions are equally important. And, truth be told, every single religion calls for every single human being to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

May God bless us all. Namaste.

Lady Gaga Speaks Truth

20131122-055034.jpg

I like Lady Gaga. She’s so talented and I bet she’s just this amazing human being.

I saw this post by Gaga on Facebook and thought it was pretty true. There’s just so many haters out there….they act so mean and hate on others mainly because of their judgements opinions. Instead of enjoying their lives, they spend their days talking sh*t like they have the right to. You don’t like Lady Gaga…then don’t listen to her music. You dislike the Kardashians…then don’t watch their show. You want to hate…then try to be nice or not be anything at all.

I guess the reason why I created “The Mimi Amore” is because I want to be me without having to expose ME. I can be Mimi and if you like it…awesome, if you don’t…please don’t waste your time on Mimi, she’s not worth it 😉

Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier” – Blessed Mother Teresa

Ciao

Ciao! Come stai?

So, I started this blog because my mom says I talk too much, some of my friends say I’m hilarious and I think I’m just very, um, “open-minded” I guess! LOL

I always have an opinion on everything. I know, people like that are so annoying! But hey, I’m not trying to annoy anyone…and I really don’t want to offend anyone, either. All I do is talk….talk, talk, talk, talk! Don’t hate me for it!

So, I’ll love ya if you read my blogs….and honestly, I won’t blame you if you don’t! And a super big thanks to all those who are following me.

Let’s all agree to disagree and enjoy whatever life throws at us!

Peace, love & happiness!!

Dearest Gandhi

Our tour guide, Grand Travel Planner, took us to Birla Bhavan (also known as Gandhi Smriti) during our Delhi city tour.

By far, this was my favorite museum in India! And, trust me, we went to a lot of museums all over the huge country! Walking along the path where Gandhi took his last steps, was by far one of the most memorable moments of my life. It was like walking amongst the greatest of greatest. You definitely have to visit this place if you’re ever in Delhi…trust.
