Roses to celebrate our one year anniversary and Valentine’s Day. A hand drawn portrait from my beautiful niece.
Always spoiled. Forever loved. Eternally grateful.

I can honestly drop you in a heartbeat when you cross the line. If you cannot humble yourself to admit that you did me wrong, then you’re dead to me. Please don’t ever take kindness as weakness. You must be really stupid to think that you’re better than anyone else.
I’ll always be me.
2019 is over. It was damn exhausting but now it’s over.
So blessed for this new year…this new decade. Back on track with a heart full of love and a life to truly be grateful for.

As a Korean-American, this is the greatest pain I can never understand but it will always be in my heart.
Our families were torn apart. Our dreams were shattered. Our country was never given the opportunity to prosper because of unnecessary differences.
When will Korea reunite? Can we still become one? Yes, we can…can’t we?
#THROWBACK Lil Man looking so cute when he was a baby! Looks like a little wrapped up burrito 🙂 I can eat him up!
My grandma passed away 20 years ago today. She was practically my only grandparent…both my grandfathers passed away before I was born and my paternal grandmother passed away when I was a baby.
I loved my grandma so much! And deep down inside, I know I was her favorite grandchild…because she told me I was 😉 lol
When I was a little kid, like 7 or 8 years old, my grandma would give me $1 every time the ice cream truck came by. And I would run out and chase after the ice cream man, screaming, “Wait! I need a Choco Taco!” (I swear, they’re the best!). And I would go back home with one Choco Taco and my grandma would cut it in half and we would share it. And now, every single time I eat my favorite ice cream…it is a little bittersweet.
More than anything, I wish my grandma could’ve been here longer…not necessarily for me, but for my mommy. I could never imagine living 20 years without having a mom. I bet that’s just the saddest thing ever.
I love you, 할머니 (Grandma)
Thanks for always loving me…and for all those delicious Choco Tacos ❤️
My future lil sis-in-law had a lovely tea party for her bridal shower. It was a Breakfast at Tiffany’s / Tiffany & Co inspired theme. Isn’t she so classic and chic? Love her! Welcome to the family, Sis!
And this drawing by Soo Kim just says it all!
I’m Catholic but quite honestly I’m really not that religious. I can’t say that I go to Mass every single week and sometimes I forget to say my prayers but I believe in Christ, I am a Christian.
I never try to impose my religion on anyone else because, with any religion, I just don’t think anyone should go there. Your religion is your religion. But I expose the views of Catholicism, or at least I try to, through my actions in my everyday life.
I feel as if all religions are equally important. And, truth be told, every single religion calls for every single human being to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
May God bless us all. Namaste.
